The ALPHAEON X Keith Haring capsule brings to market three wonderfully designed products – a gaming chair, beanbag and mousepad – each inspired by Haring’s art.
The statement piece in the entire capsule is the ALPHAEON X Keith Haring gaming chair.
Keith Haring’s figures are dynamically in white from back to front of the faux leather covered backrest and seat. His “barking dog” icon appears in red on the lumbar support with Haring’s enduring inspiration enshrined by his signature on the headrest and chair’s reverse.
Ergonomically crafted and informed by Alphaeon’s latest material science, support and comfort is guaranteed whether you’re actively gaming or sitting down for a moment of quiet reflection.
Keith Haring (1958-90) was one of the most renowned of the young artists, filmmakers, and performers whose work responded to urban street culture of the 1980s. Inspired by the graffiti artists whose marks covered the city’s subway cars, Haring began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panels.
A reflection of Keith Haring’s rich artistic history and signature style, stylised shapes in bright colours outlined in black form runs throughout the release. His iconic figures and notable “barking dog” drawing feature prominently, bringing the artist’s whimsical and wonderful imagination to life. A vibrant red, black and white colour scheme ties the whole capsule together.
